Rochester I-Day is a joint venture between members of the CPCU Society of Rochester and Big I – Greater Rochester. This annual event brings together local agents and brokers along with insurance company representatives and affiliates of the industry. The day offers continuing education courses with credits, 30 exhibitor booths, open bar before lunch and a keynote engaging speaker to end the day. Best known for his broadcasting career at 13WHAM-TV. We are excited to welcome this years I-Day speaker Doug Emblidge. After a 45-year career in broadcasting, Doug was ready for something new. He had long been interested in investing, and in 2022 he joined Alesco Advisors in Pittsford as a Client Advisor. As a member of the Business Development team, he is involved in both client-facing business and as a advocate in the community.
2025 I-Day Scholarship $2,000
Open to all high school seniors who are children of members of the Big I or Rochester CPCU Society. Applicant must be attending an accredited 2 year or 4 year college/university.
SCHOLARSHIP NOW INCLUDES HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO WILL BE ATTENDING A TRADE SCHOOL.
All applications must be received by July 1, 2025 in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
The CPCU Society is a global not-for-profit membership association dedicated to enriching the careers of nearly 18,000 highly motivated risk management and insurance professionals.
